Kalle Keituri wygrał kwalifikacje do sobotnich zawodów Pucharu Świata w Obestdorfie (HS 213). Fin poszybował na odległość 199,5m. Na drugim miejscu uplasował się Roar Ljoekelsoey (197,5m), a Anders Bardal był trzeci (194,5m).
Najdłuższy skok serii oddał jednak Anders Jacobsen, który uzyskał aż 218 metrów. Daleko lądował także Martin Koch (208m), a na 197,5m polecieli Gregor Schlierenzauer i Matti Hautamaeki.
