Bardzo przeciętnie wypadli nasi reprezentanci w serii próbnej przed dzisiejszym konkursem PK w Rovaniemi. Trening wygrał Shohhei Tochimoto skokiem na 98,5m, a drugi był Petr Chaadaev (95m).
Mario Innauer oraz Henning Stensrud uzyskali trzecią odległość treningu - 94m.
Najlepszy z Polaków był Piotr Żyła (88,5m i 24. pozycja), po 88 metrów uzyskali Wojciech Skupień i Krystian Długopolski (29. wynik), 36. był Rafał Śliż (86,5m), a 74. Tomasz Pochwała (73m).
