The Austrian team of Andreas Widhoelzl, Wolfgang Loitzl, Thomas Morgenstern and Martin Hoellwarth won the single round team competition in Pragelato. Slovenia came second while the German team completed the podium in third.

Andreas Widhoelzl was the one who jumped furthest: his impressive 128,5-metre-jump was the best result in the Austrian team and second best one in the unofficial individual standings. Surprisingly, the poorest attempt of the team was made by Thomas Morgenstern, who leaped only 177,5 metres.

The only jumper to break the distance of 130 metres was Jernej Damjan: his huge 132 metres in the fourth jump assured the second place of his team. When it comes to the Germans, they owe their third place not only to the good jump of Michael Uhrmann (118,5 metres), but also to a tidy effort from Martin Schmitt (115 metres).

The Polish fans had also a reason to smile: Polish team came in fourth place, after an admirable performance from Adam Małysz, who soared to 125 metres, and good jumps from the rest of the team: Mateusz Rutkowski (with his 109 metres, he managed to make up for his very poor result from the individual event), Kamil Stoch (104,5 metres) and Marcin Bachleda (103 metres).

After the rehearsal for the Olympic Games, it's time for World Championships in Oberstdorf with the K-90 event on Saturday, 19 February.
